Our church extends a warm welcome to everyone. There is one service on each Sunday of the month. On the second and fourth Sundays there is a Communion Service based on Common Worship. The first Sunday takes the form of a more informal family service, while the third Sunday is Morning Prayer from Common Worship.
Most services are led by our Priest, the Revd Judith Wright, seen above with the Bishop of Crediton after the Communion Service celebrating 750 years of Rectors and Priests in the parish, at our animal blessing service and also enjoying herself at our 750th anniversary. Members of the congregation regularly participate in Bible readings and in leading prayers. Occasionally lay people lead worship. Throughout the year we mark significant festivals and events with a variety of services.
The Church is the centre of the community and is often full to overflowing at weddings and funerals. Baptisms are also well attended and the church has developed a programme of preparation for baptism which involves the priest and lay people.
One Tuesday each month we meet with the Plymtree United Reformed Church as a "Prayer Partnership".
Plymtree Church of England Primary School meets for worship in the church every week.
