2015 was a bumper year for the cider apple crop in Plymtree. In the Clyst William orchard over 30 helpers from Bristol and London gathered in seventy sacks of apples. The youngest helper was just 2 years of age and the oldest was 92. Some apples were pressed for juice and some for cider. The left-over pomace will feed birds and other creatures over winter.
